Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how ViraLoop ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you use the ViraLoop application and website (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
When you connect your TikTok account to ViraLoop through TikTok's official authorization (OAuth) flow, we collect only the data covered by the permissions you explicitly grant:
- Basic account information — your TikTok display name, avatar and an app-scoped identifier (open_id), so we can show which account is connected.
- Content data — the videos, images, captions and settings you create or upload in ViraLoop for publishing to your account, and metadata of your published videos (title, creation time, view/like/comment/share counts) used to build your performance reports.
- Authorization tokens — the access and refresh tokens TikTok issues so the Service can act on your behalf. Tokens are stored encrypted and are never shared.
- Technical data — basic logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the Service.
We do not collect your TikTok password. We never access data beyond the scopes you approve.
2. How we use information
- To operate the Service: preparing, previewing and publishing content to your TikTok account, only after your explicit confirmation of each post.
- To show you analytics about your own published content.
- To secure, maintain and improve the Service.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising. We do not automate likes, follows, comments or any form of artificial engagement.
3. Sharing
We share data only with: (a) TikTok, through its official APIs, as necessary to provide the Service you requested; and (b) infrastructure providers (hosting, storage) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.
4. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You may disconnect your TikTok account at any time from within ViraLoop or by removing ViraLoop's access in your TikTok app settings (Settings > Security & permissions > Apps and services); upon disconnection we delete your authorization tokens. You may request full deletion of your ViraLoop data at any time by emailing contact@viraloop.com.br; we will comply within 30 days.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption of tokens at rest and in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the Brazilian LGPD and the EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact us at contact@viraloop.com.br to exercise these rights.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this page, with its effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
